Tim McDonald is Global Community Manager for the Huffington Post in New York.  He says that ensuring a good community amongst the 100,000 bloggers and countless members of the Huffington Post community requires a lot of small personal touches - like sending flowers to members of the community and remembering to wish them Happy Birthday. "Community Management takes place 90 percent in the offline world," he says.
